Referral Slips – Awards Season 2019
Referral Slips #7 – Awards Season 2019
It’s the film industry awards season, & unsurprisingly we have a lot to say despite having seen very few of the nominated films. We promise that Vanessa doesn’t rant the entire episode about the absence of nominations for Toni Collette’s performance from “Hereditary”. While we make a few picks of our own, we’ll be posting some polls in our Facebook group & on Twitter on Oscar predictions for you our listeners to participate in. Coming later this month we celebrate Black Power with the revolutionary Sam Greenlee 1969 novel “The Spook Who Sat by the Door” & the Ivan Dixon 1973 film adaptation of the same name.
